I didn't realize how much older we had gotten until this all happened. Seeing all our old friends and teachers from Carr Lane really got to me. I miss my childhood when things like this just didnt happen. I wasn't as close to Tony as i used to be but i still talked to him from time to time. But i just figured i would always have our random, time to time conversations. Everyone went so far for college, that things just started to fade. Comments:Tony Bossi, who in a million years would have guessed this would happen. I remember him sitting in homeroom, debating whatever with a big smile across his face. I'm glad i remember him like that. I'm realy upset with myself that I didn't let myself get closer with him, and now I'll never have a chance. When something like this happens it really makes you cherish every minute that you have. Take the extra five minutes and pick up the phone just to say hi. I don't know about anyone else but since high school I haven't kept in touch with anyone and that's horrible. We went through the hardest years of our life together and suddenly we're too busy for each other. Comments:I am going to have to disagree with your "Age and Dating" opinion. Granted I am 21 and my girlfriend is 17, I see things a little differently than you do. First off, there is no sex with us. She has morals about that and I highly respect it. Secondly, girls mature faster than boys do. It almost seems as if she is at the same maturity level with me right now. Girl hit puberty about 2-4 years prior to guys I think thus putting her 2-4 years higher on the maturity level, matching her up with 19-21 year old guys at the time. I am honestly kidna hurt by the fact that you think love is such a thing as needing that person. To me, that's addiction, not love. Love is when you deeply connect with one person, and all you want for that person is their happienss. Even if she doesn't feel the same for you, you would want her to be happy. I can honestly say that after 5 months of being with my g/f, I am in love. She is absolutely amazing in my eyes and I challenge anyone to disagree with me. Maybe stereotypically, which is what I think you are doing, younger girls go for those older guys because of that comfort, I agree there. But there are some cases where it works, and I believe mine is one of them. I am not out to bang my girlfriend or even try to mold her into someone she is not. I enjoy her company and respect every bit of her. I wish you would reconsider your thoughts.
